And as we enter into Samuel Clemens' famed Indian Summer, there is no better place to be in the world than among San Francisco's warm winds and gently swaying trees. VSC wins large Facebook contest with 101 "likes"

After the contest to see which ArtSpan artist could collect the most "likes" on the 'ArtSpan Benefit Art Show & Auction' Event Page, my painting, "Caress Me Down," won with a 101 votes! The winning piece was available in the live auction Saturday night, March 26th, at the ArtSpan Benefit Art Show & Auction. Proceeds from the auction go to supporting art for children in San Francisco schools.

There were a tremendous amount of beautiful pieces entered into the contest, so I am truly humbled by this wonderful experience! Thank you everyone for your support!

March 23rd, 2011, I and other ArtSpan artists were on the news show, 7Live from 3-4pm on ABC, channel 7, broadcast throughout San Francisco and the Bay area, promoting ArtSpan's Annual Gala, which took place on Saturday, March 26th in the city. Proceeds from the event went to charities that support art for children in San Francisco schools. Details from the event are below.
