I had a wonderful evening at the ArtSpan Auction over the weekend!  It was a great night for charity, as many paintings sold in the live auction including my painting, A Clockwork Orange, VSC 2012.

VSC Wins 2012 Facebook People's Choice Award!

For the second year in a row, VSC won the coveted Facebook Contest!  And that is in no small part due to my wonderful clients who voted for me!  Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!  Due to all of your efforts, ArtSpan has chosen to include the VSC painting, A Clockwork Orange in their Live Auction this Saturday night, March 10th.  It is an honour to be included in this prestigious show where proceeds go to amazing charities in San Francisco!  You guys Rock! :)

This year's Red Cross Fundraiser was held right in the middle of Union Square!  It doesn't get anymore San Francisco than that! :)  The lovely, statuesque tents in the middle of the towering city were quite an inspiration.  Thanks Red Cross for all that you do, and for hosting such a special evening!

Why I Love My Studio

“My studio is in a throbbing urban enclave of San Francisco.  This is where I continue to create abstract pieces that are vibrant in color and texture. The city is my pallet in motion, and I paint with specs of hues dancing atop the black bay at night, and the fuchsia plastic bags swirling like jellyfish above street vents in China Town.  These and so many other urban subtleties bring my abstract paintings to life.”
