40 artists will be displaying their work in an incredible variety of media, including jewelry, collage, glass, drawing, mixed media, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture, and so much more!

As the SOMA neighborhood has expanded and matured, other artist groups have moved into the area culminating with more than 100 artists participating in Open Studios this year. Come and support your local artists! We have art for every taste and for every pocketbook. Affordable art for the home, the spirit and the soul.

LOCATION: 689 Bryant St. @ 5th, San Francisco
The studios are easy to get to by walking, bicycling or by public transportation. All featured studios are close to the CalTrain station and only a few blocks from Market St. BART stations. Several MUNI bus routes run to the neighborhood including the 9, 10, 12, 15, 27, 30, 45, 47 and metro lines N and T.
Parking meters will be enforced on Sunday. There is paid parking lots on 5th as well as on Brannan Street.

COCA, the Coalition of California Artists, is a group of established and emerging artists in the Bay Area who create unique 2-dimensional artwork. The group aims to become THE established resource for the interior design and home furnishings industry, raising awareness for high quality affordable art available directly from the source. In addition to working with the interior design industry, COCA strives to build relationships with art lovers, collectors, galleries, organizations and charities. COCA aims to open a window into the unique and diverse arts scene in the Bay Area and to show how the incorporation of art into our daily surroundings enriches our lives.

I've taken on a second studio to glean creative inspiration from. SOMA ARTISTS STUDIOS is a dynamic workspace for artists of many disciplines - painters, sculptors, textile artists, jewelers, ceramicists, filmmakers, digital artists, printmakers, photographers and mixed media artists.  In addition to being a 24/7 workspace for the artists-in-residence, the studio also provides exhibition space and hosts several public events throughout the year.
